ART BOOKS!!!!!!!

.....and LOTS of them!!!! 

I've been using books in my classroom for quite sometime to help make the connection of art and literature.  However, at times some of these amazing books that I want to use are unavailable at many of the local libraries.  So, to better accommodate this, Halverson funded these AMAZING BOOKS for us! 

They keep coming in too!! I'll update you in the end with a picture of all! :)

1st grade | Seahorse painting

We started by reading Mister Seahorse by Eric Carle

We then reviewed the rainbow order of ROYGBIV.

We used this order to paint our paper that would soon become Mister Seahorse! 

Mr.seahorse is done....

Now he needs an ocean to swim in! 

Next class we will put Mr.Seahorse in his ocean! 

I can't wait to see these in the halls!
