5th grade just completed their Balanced Warm & Cool Spirals! We talked about the three main types of balance: symmetrical, asymmetrical, and radial. We also talked about the warm and cool colors. The students chose a color for their back ground, then based off of that color (warm or cool), they chose the opposite colors for their balanced spirals.
