Today 1st graders learned about a famous artist named Wassily Kandinsky [vaˈsʲilʲɪj kɐnˈdʲinskʲɪj]
Kandinsky like to paint with a lot of COLORS! In 1st grade art we have been talking about color lately. They have learned about the primary and secondary colors. Today they used the primary colors to start their Kandinsky inspired painting. Kandinsky also like to listen to music while he painted, so we listened to music while we painted as well!
